Auto INSPECTIONS

We take a careful look at all the details that are really important on vintage cars such as signs of rust or rot, body filler work, and any prior or hidden damage. ACIS PRO provides you with the details regarding your inspection. By requesting our assistance, you will be supplied with a thorough report and photos.

Most reliable professionals advise a Pre-Purchase Inspection before purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. ACIS provides you with the details regarding your inspection. By requesting our assistance, you will be supplied with a thorough report and photos. Our car inspection process begins with an inspection of the paint, body, and framework to determine prior repair history. Most often minor to moderate repairs will not even show up on the carfax and we can help determine if the repairs were done correctly. This is accomplished with an up-close visual inspection of your car or vehicle by a highly qualified inspector. But that is only the beginning of the process!

Much too often, auto repairs are not always adequately performed to restore the damaged vehicle to its former “pre-loss condition”. ACIS will examine the quality of the repairs to ensure everything completed thoroughly and appropriately. Poorly performed repairs will result in diminishing the value of the vehicle. Inadequate repairs also may cause some significant safety concerns. Inferior repairs often may lead to issues with the deployment of airbags and restraint systems, potentially causing serious injuries to the driver and their passengers.

Our post-repair inspection includes all of the inspection findings/deficiencies, photos, and opinions of our certified inspectors. We will also provide advice relating to the damage to your vehicle. This report will give you the information needed to address the necessary re-repairs.

Appraisals that Stand Up in Court

Whether you intend to buy, lease, or walk away from it, your car will need to undergo a thorough end of lease inspection. Read your leasing contract before you do anything! In your contract, the leasing company outlines exactly which damages they will be charging you for, so that way you can spend money only on what they care about – nothing more, nothing less. The car will be inspected for mileage, wear and tear, and other issues that may reduce the value of the car. It is best that you prepare for the end of lease inspection in advance. Alright, so when should I get my inspection done? As early as possible! The earlier you can, then the sooner you have time to address any repair issues that may be called attention to in order to avoid extra fees at termination. The costs of these repairs are usually less than the amount the leasing company will charge you.

AUTO MARKET VALUE

Insurance companies will make their own determination as to the worth of your vehicle also known as the “Actual Cash Value” of the vehicle and try to settle for that amount. If your auto is damaged and you cannot agree on the value of the vehicle (a total loss), you can invoke the Right of Appraisal Clause, which allows you, as a policyholder, to dispute the total loss assessment provided by your insurance company. When the Appraisal Clause is invoked, both you and your insurance company each select an unbiased appraiser. Many total loss adjusters will not mention to you your option to request an independent appraisal. In the appraisal clause process, each side will select a competent appraiser to assess the value of the auto loss. Each side will be responsible for paying the independent appraisers. You should select an appraiser who is knowledgeable in the specific area that is the subject of the dispute and who is familiar with the appraisal clause process.

AUTO DIMINISHED VALUE

Diminished value—also known as a reduction of value—is the difference in the market price for a vehicle right before an accident and immediately after. It’s important to note that this is different from depreciation, which refers to a drop in value over time. You should file a diminished value claim any time you’re in a car accident where the other party is at-fault so that you can recover your car’s decrease in value. Most insurance policies prohibit you from filing a diminished value claim against your own insurance company. The key to negotiating a diminished value claim is to get appraisal and inspection by a reputable third party. A third-party assessment from a certified independent appraisal company can be used to negotiate the best possible outcome on your behalf.

I would highly recommend ACIS PRO. After many frustrations working with my insurance company, I had my doubts about the process. However, it went exactly how Robert said it would and I am relieved that he was able to negotiate a higher settlement. I would highly recommend his services. He is excellent at what he does.

ACIS Pro took on a BIG Insurance Company and won! Robert Gomez of ACIS Pro took on my case and got me $10,000 more than the insurance company offered initially! Your experience may be different, but Robert was there to answer any questions I had. The fee at ACIS Pro is more than fair. Robert is a real pro.

Rob was on his game, and with his guidance, I was able to get more money for my totaled vehicle than I paid for it new. He was very quick to respond, and I could tell he prioritizes looking out for his clients. I WILL be calling Rob again in the future if God forbid I have to deal with the dreaded insurance companies again.
